Tight Spot
Utah
This is one of the tightest slot canyons I've been in. At this point it is probably less than 18 inches wide. We had to take off our packs and walk sideways through this section. The walls were lined with sandstone nodules that made the walls very rough to the touch. As I came around a bend, the walls ahead were glowing orange from the reflected light coming down into the canyon. This canyon is in the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument.
